1. Avoid comparing your child to others โ Every child is unique, and comparisons only add unnecessary pressure.
2. Donโt compare your child to their siblings โ Each child has their own journey, and it's important to celebrate their individuality without creating unnecessary competition.
3. Donโt overthink every little detail โ Trust your instincts and avoid spiraling into unnecessary worry about every decision or situation.
4. Do what you can handle at home, and seek professional support for what you can't โ Itโs okay to ask for help and get the guidance you need when things feel overwhelming.
5. Donโt turn to Dr. Google โ While the internet can provide some insight, avoid diagnosing or treating your child based on unreliable sources.
6. Donโt be swayed by social media or marketing โ Not everything you see online is what it seems. Be cautious about products and trends that may add stress or pressure.
7. Donโt believe everything is as easy as it appears on social media โ Remember that social media only shows the highlights, not the full picture. Embrace the reality of motherhood and its ups and downs.
8. Avoid toxic mother support groups โ Surround yourself with positive, supportive communities. Itโs important to choose groups that are uplifting rather than those that contribute to negativity and are misleading.
9. Donโt experiment with your childโs health or routines โ Childrenโs bodies and systems are different from adults'. Itโs important to be cautious and informed before trying new approaches.
10. Steer clear of myths and misconceptions โ Be mindful of the myths you may encounter, and focus on evidence-based practices for your child's wellbeing.
๐๐๐๐๐:
๐ Avoid toxic cultural beliefs โ Let go of harmful societal expectations and embrace your unique path as a mother, free from negative cultural pressures.
By avoiding these pitfalls, Parents as well as Caregivers can foster a more peaceful and balanced approach to parenting.
